This is a turn-key superbike that has been fully serviced and inspected and is ready to take you anywhere you want to go.
The BMW S1000RR defines the superbike. Every component is built to the singular purpose of speed. The 999cc, 4-cylinder engine is capable of producing 193hp at 14,000rpm, propelling the bike from 0 to 60mph in 2.7 seconds and from 0 to 100mph in 5.13 seconds with a final top speed of 205mph. This enormous power, coupled to the 6-speed gearbox and racing quick-shift system, result in the S1000RR monstering the quarter-mile in 9.9 seconds with a top speed of 155mph. It’s no wonder that, with numbers like these, the S1000RR can beat a Bugatti Veyron Super Sport in a sprint to 150mph.
Things don’t get any tamer in the corners either. The bike offers four riding modes that change the traction control, race ABS, throttle response, and power output to meet current riding conditions, while the fully-adjustable front and rear shocks allow for the bike to be set up for the exact preferences of the rider, and the Brembo brakes keep the enormous power under control. All of this culminates in race-bike handling that would rival, or even beat, almost any new superbike.
This specific bike is outfitted with brand new sport tires (a Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa front and Diablo Rosso rear) for maximum dry-weather traction. Additionally, it has been tastefully modified with high-quality turn-signal deletes that mold smoothly to the fairings, a rear-fender delete kit, a Zero-Gravity tinted front windscreen, axle sliders that also serve as bike-stand lift-points, and several protective covers for both the engine and gas tank.
This bike meets all requirements to be fully road-legal in the state of Colorado, and recently received the full, BMW recommended 6k-mile service and inspection at Northern Colorado Powersports — a BMW Motorrad dealer and service center (The full service invoice can be provided upon request). The only damage to the bike is a set of two light scratches on the top left edge of the gas tank, a very small rock chip on the front of the fairings below the windscreen, and a small chip on the left side passenger foot pegs. The bike has been kept indoors for the majority of its life, was ridden very gently by its previous owners, and is in excellent condition cosmetically and mechanically. The paint is in near-perfect condition and there is no rust or uncharacteristic wear on any components. All electronics function properly, and the gauge cluster and control interfaces are free of any damage or wear. Overall this is a fantastic example of one of the greatest motorcycles in the world.
